Samara Сampus of Moscow City University actively supports students’ research work.

Every year, the university hosts scientific student conference “Days of Science”, which includes events of the “School of Scientific Craft” (master classes, panel discussions, public lecture, trainings, business games), organized by invited guests together with students of Samara Campus of MCU.

The program of the conference “Days of Science” includes meetings of sections at faculties. An important part of students’ scientific life is the competition of research and design works. According to the results of scientific activities of bachelors, undergraduates and postgraduates of the Campus, a collection is formed annually, including the results of scientific research of the best representatives of students’ science.

The students of Samara Campus of MCU successfully participate in the annual Samara Regional Student Scientific Conference. 7 sections of the Conference are held at our university.

Students also actively present their achievements at Platonov Readings (the All-Russian Conference of Young Historians of Samara), regional Kleinovsky readings of young scientists, the regional youth scientific and practical conference “Volga Region Festival of Student Science”, etc. University students are annually awarded scholarships by the Governor of the Samara Region for their research results, receive the “Young Scientist” and “Student of the Year” awards.

As a perspective for the development of research and development activities, it is planned to involve students, teachers, and employers in creating diverse age groups to address the current challenges of the Samara region, as well as to widen the range of scientific events (support and participation in the “I am a Professional” Olympics, Moscow Science Festival, etc.).
